But I had to try, because a gigantic cabbage head in the fridge for months is like:
So here is attempt number 543 to make something with this annoyingly persistent vegetable that I actually enjoy. Look at this gigantic thing:
The attempt that finally saw me acheive success in my endeavor was actually a childhood favorite of mine, courtesy MamaFizzle’s Longbeans Carrot Stir-Fry
Ingredients: Cut up some: Onions, Beans and Cabbage, and grate some Carrots. You’ll need three eggs, and the flavoring will consist of (Coriander powder, Cumin, fennel and chili powder OR Curry powder), Soy Sauce, Oyster Sauce, Pepper and Salt. I just premixed it in a bowl to save me the trouble later.
- Fry the onion and beans in oil for a few minutes. I like these both well done.
- Add the carrots, cabbage, and seasonings, and fry some more.
- Next, the eggs. Follow the wonderful photo instructions. Just make some space at the bottom of the pan and break the eggs in. make scrambled egg, THEN mix with the rest of the vegetables. This will give you nice egg pieces instead of brown eggy goo.

Unfortunately, though Mr. Kizzle enjoyed it, he also said that the reason I liked it was because you can’t really taste the cabbage. (Obviously, how else was I going to enjoy it?)
