In the 20 minutes this took me to make, 2 wickets fell. (England were batting, so we can all be happy about this.)
Now, children (This is my Teacher Voice) what is the only thing that can truly complement cricket?
Anyone?
Yes small person, that is right, CHOCOLATE.
I dug through my stand-by recipes and found one from Apple of My Eye.
And I also happened to have One Last Avocado.
With exactly zero alterations:
- Smush 1 avocado
- Add ½ cup sugar, 1 egg and 1 tsp vanilla
- Mix ½ cup cocoa powder, 1/3 cup flour and ½ tsp baking soda
- Combine
- Chop 60 g of chocolate chunks
Now this part is important: Remember to mix in the chocolate chunks before you make the cookie dollops on the baking tray. Because in that moment when you gaze at your ready-to-bake cookie blobs, and then at your separate small pile of chocolate chunks, you will not feel smart.
If however you find yourself in this predicament, simply stick the chocolate into the cookies haphazardly. Presentation is not important.
Bake at 175 C for 8-10 mins. Then go tell the genius behind this how wonderful it was.
Speaking of wonderful, New Zealand might just beat India. Might. If we just believe.

enjoyed it. thanks.
